Fight for Life

Summary:  This is a story about a girl named Maggie who lives with her grandmother.  Her grandmother is a veterinarian and they have an animal clinic attached to their house.  Maggie loves to help at the clinic but her grandmother (Gran) is worried about her grades in school.  Gran decides that Maggie cannot help in the clinic any more until she brings her grades up.  Gran hires Brenna to do Maggie's chores.  Many dogs come in from a puppy mill.  The dogs are underfed, dehydrated and infected.  Maggie and her friends set out to find the puppy mill and shut it down

#14.  11 year old Maggie lives with her grandmother who is a vet at the Wild at Heart animal clinic. Maggie loves working and playing with the dogs that are patients there. There has been a lot of sick dying puppies coming in. The owners claim that they bought it from a man at the farmers market. The puppies are trapped in a puppy mill, where three dogs are piled into one cage,they have not been fed, and they aren't able to go to the bathroom. The man that is selling the puppys don't tell the buyers about their health. So far two dogs at the clinic have died. Maggie and her friends are doing whatever they can to save the pups, and have the man that is abusing them arrested.

The man at the puppy mill is not taking care of the sick animals and leaves them in a barn with no food and water. Now it's up to Maggie and her friends to save the sick and abused puppies and close down the puppy mill.
