Honus and Me

Summary:Joe, who loves baseball but is not very good at it, finds a valuable 1909 Honus Wagner card and travels back in time to meet Honus.

1.  Why is this card so special?  Cigarette companies used to print the cards.  Honus did not want his name and photo used to sell cigarettes.  However some cards were printed and go to the public before his card was discontinued.  That is why the few cards are worth a lot of money.  He put it in his backpack.

2.  What made Joe think that Birdie from the baseball card shop was lying when he said it was Heine Wagner not Honus?   He was sweating and acting real nervous about this $10 deal he was trying to make.

3.  How was Joe able to prove that the story he told about traveling back in time with Honus Wagner really happened?  He had the other half or the photo that matched the one she gave him of the ballplayer.
