Summary: Ocean divers found a shipwreck. It was the H. L. Hunley, a submarine that had sunk during the Civil War. This book tells how they found the boat, and the process of raising it. They also detail how they worked on it to find out what was inside without destroying it.

2. What was the H. L. Hunley? It was a civil war submarine. It was considered the secret weapon of the south.
3. When was the Hunley found and how. It was found in May of 1995. It was found by poking a long stick called a probe into the sand. When it hit something hard they started to scoop the sand away with their hands. Then they used a small vacuum to suck the sand away and reveal the boat.
